Sharpening Process

 
     
Below shown images displayed on a 3.5 inch display would be equivalent to 100x zoom on to a bevel of stainless steel knife.
 
Width of all pictures is approximately 0.6mm
 
Below are shown photos of a stainless steel knives edge as it evolves during the sharpening process. The pictures in left column are taken with top and bottom lights on, this shows the edge better. Pictures in right column only with top light, this shows bevel better.
